The olfactory pyramid
The olfactory perception
The olfactory perception of a fragrance can be conventionally represented through an olfactory pyramid.
The scented notes that make up each fragrance, depending on the degree of intensity and persistence, are classified into three groups:
He ad notes are readily known and short-lived. They transmit the first fragrance fragrance impression and disappear after a few minutes.
Heart notes represent the true theme of perfume, they are the expression of its wealth and its wake. Compared to head notes are more powerful and last for a few hours.
The background notes express the personality of the scent, give warmth and persistence to the essence structure. They evaporate slowly and vanish after a few days.
